Hydroderm Review

Hydroderm claims that what sets them apart from other anti-aging treatments is their collagen delivery system, which they have patented. Their product allows "whole collagen molecules" to penetrate deeply into the skin. This replenishes lost collagen in the skin. The manufacturers of Hydroderm claim that this is superior even to Botox injections! While Hydroderm produces many skincare products (eye creams, moisturizers, and exfoliants), the Hydroderm Age-Defying Wrinkle Reducer is what we will focus on for this review.

Product Details

Naturally, the principle ingredient in the Wrinkle Reducer is the collagen infusion system. This is paired with a patented protein concentrate called Vyo-Serum. This moisturizing agent works to tighten the skin and helps to preserve the results from the collagen system.

Other ingredients in Hydroderm's Age-Defying Wrinkle Reducer are Distilled water, Methylparaben, Cephene, Ethylparaben, Butylparaben, Propylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Purified water, Synasol, Sodium Methylparaben, Trisodium EDTA, Imidezolidinyl Urea, Potassium Sorbate, Ascorbic Acid and Citric Acid.

Advantages

Hydroderm offers a 30-day trial of their product. However, results are not expected to be seen in less than three weeks, so it doesn't give a lot of time to actually try to the product. Any product that claims to boost collagen could be beneficial to reducing wrinkles, but unfortunately, Hydroderm does not couple their claims with research to back them up.

Disadvantages

While the collagen infusion system is the primary draw for their product, Hydroderm gives very little informative research about how this actually works and whether it actually works. The Wrinkle Reducer also contains parabens, which can be harmful. After the initial 30-day trial period, there does not seem to be any money-back guarantee. At $80 for the product, that's a lot of money to lose should the product not work for you.

Conclusion

The concept of delivering whole collagen into the skin is a fantastic idea. However, without the use of injections it seems to be nearly impossible. Perhaps if there was some extensive research to back up Hydroderm's claims it might be easier to swallow. Unfortunately the bottom line here seems to be that this product is probably overrated and a waste of your money in my opinion.
