Kumaara Review

Kumaara is an exotic sounding product line that contains many different treatments for the skin. Each treatment serves its own purpose. The "Daily Antioxidant Protection" is an SPF cream that is supposed to be used daily. Then there is the "Overnight Repair Complex" and the "Luminescent Primer." These Kumaara products work independently of each other. The Kumaara company got its name from the Sanskrit word for "Youth." They believe that everyone deserves to experience glowing and bright skin that they once had in their youth.

Product Details

The Kumaara Daily Antioxidant Repair cream works by blocking out damaging sunrays. It contains 15 SPF to protect against further damage. It also contains an antioxidant blend that fights against free radicals. Using the Repair Cream is said to boost radiance, firmness, and overall health of the facial tissue. You smooth a very small amount onto the face and go about your day. Reapply as necessary, because SPF doesn't last all day if you are outdoors.

• Ingredients: Gooseberry, acai, and goji berry are amongst a few of the ingredients. As you can imagine these expensive components make for an expensive cream, about $60 per tube and the exact amount in each tube is not listed.
• The Overnight Repair Complex - is an overnight cream designed to fix the skin while you sleep. The deep penetrating moisturizers "claim" to reduce wrinkles from the inside out. This product contains a few exclusive ingredients such as: linefactor dermaxyl, sepilift, and oligogeline. These ingredients are supposed to protect the skin as you rest and improve the sagging quality of skin. This product costs $60.
• The Facial Primer - intended to be used beneath your make up to provide a flawless finish. The bottle looks small and contains bearberry and moisturizers. It costs $30 per tube, which is industry standard for a primer.
• The Total Eye Renewal Product - claims to boost the skin around the eye and brighten the area to appear smoother and softer.
• The Day-Night Ritual Cream - another anti-aging cream that claims to be "rejuvenating." Vague descriptions are available. This cream retails for $120 but is available for a "free" trial.

The other portions of the Kumaara line contain two additional eye serums as well as a concealer to hide those pesky wrinkles that won't fade by using their creams.

Other ingredients are not listed on the Kumaara website, and cannot be located. The website only offers up the natural ingredients these products contain. All of the products contain some type of expensive sounding berry or extract that fills your skin with antioxidants.

Pros:

This product does use some high antioxidant berries that are known for skin boosting benefits. The bottles look sleek. A short free trial for their new eye cream is available, with a catch of some sort.

Cons:

While attempting to navigate the Kumaara website there were too many errors that kept popping up. This error kept showing after visiting a new page "A system error has occurred. Please contact our Customer Care. We apologize for any inconvenience." The error frequently appeared while attempting to visit their "stories" section. There also wasn't a concise ingredient list to speak of, and very few reviews and photos. The website seemed empty almost, and some links were dead at time of use. Just looking at the front page, it's hard to take this product seriously. There is a horribly photo-shopped image on the cover and it doesn't seem like the product would be much better.

Final Verdict

The Kumaara skin care line is expensive and offers very little information on the quality, or even product sizes. When buying a product most people want to know how many ounces they are purchasing to gauge if it is a good value for the cost. In the case of Kumaara, you will never know until you make the purchase, but it probably isn't worth the very large risk.
